‘Sticker the Bench’ Contest

Written by Chris on 04/02/12

As most of you know, we’re settling into our new shop on John’s Island, SC. We’ve spent all our time making knives, and haven’t spent any time or energy ‘decorating’ the new shop. As you can see from the photos, our workbenches look pitifully bare – so we’re asking for help. To entice you to help us, we’re going to give away a free knife.

The contest is simple, just send us a sticker for these bare work benches and you’re automatically entered! It can be any kind of sticker you think we’d like; one from your hunt club, a spare decal you got with your latest fishing reel, or a funny bumper sticker you’ve picked up. The more creative, interesting, and cool the sticker is, the better your chances are.

We’ll take submissions through the month of April, select our favorite, and announce the winner on May 1st. And if you include a self addressed stamped envelope, we’ll send a Williams Knife Co sticker back to you. So worst case scenario we trade stickers and best case scenario, you win a knife that’s currently back-ordered for longer than I care to mention.

The winner will receive a free Edisto Oyster knife.

Send your stickers to:
Pick Me
Williams Knife Co.
3527-A Kitford Road
Johns Island, SC 29455

We look forward to seeing what you good people come up with!

Awesome idea! Can’t wait to see the progression of your work bench filling up.

I’d love to get a sticker placed on the bench of fame!

I’ll have to get busy and find one that does justice to it’s location and at the same time represents Texas, as a reminder of how far Chris’ work has reached out in this direction. Keep up the good work on the site!……(and the knives!!)

I am going to send you a sticker from subourbontherapy.com…..the college football blog Byrne and I started a year ago. It is under construction because Craig forgot the password…pretty shoo huh? I’m glad to see you are living out your dream – it ain’t easy owning your own business, but it’s worth it in the end.

I still want two working man warehouse knives for my store. You can make something like that can’t you? We don’t want to use boxcutters, we want smooth knives.
