Welcome to the website of Williams Knife Co.

Williams Knife Co. is the project and passion of Chris Williams. Being an avid outdoorsman and appreciating the utility, quality and beauty of custom knives, Chris was always fascinated with the idea of blending steel and natural materials into something that is useful and can be considered a work of art. This interest led to his pursuit of honing the craft his grandfather taught him as a young boy, the craft of knife making.

Though he doesn’t yet consider himself a master craftsmen, Chris holds himself to a high standard.  He insists that all of the knives that leave his shop live up to two conditions– form and function. In fact, his goal is that every product he makes is as beautiful as it is useful. Chris hand makes each knife from blade to sheath and he’s constantly experimenting with new materials, patterns and techniques with the goal of continually improving his products.

In addition to the knives you see in the online store, Chris has other knives in various stages of the building process. Accommodating special requests or even completely customizing a knife for a customer thrills Chris, so please feel free to email him directly with questions or ideas.

His shop is stocked with a variety of wood, both domestic and exotic, and Chris is constantly cutting and searching for just that right piece for his handle materials. He has mother of pearl, abalone and many types of bone, antler and stag on hand as well. All of the knife sheaths are made of 100% genuine leather, hand sewn and can be personalized upon request.

Chris guarantees this: “I am not satisfied if you are not completely satisfied, plain and simple. My warranty/return policy reflects my commitment to your satisfaction—if you have a problem with a knife (under what would be considered normal use) or find that it’s not quite what you were looking for, I will exhaust all efforts to fix, repair, replace or refund the product.”
