The Whitetail Skinner
The Whitetail Skinner Specs
I own a few of Williams’ knives. I use them to skin deer, bear, and hogs. From the very first knife I have never been disappointed with the very best craftsmanship and detail of every knife. If you are looking for a lifetime knife you need to get a knife from Williams’ knife company. You will never be disappointed at the craftsmanship and a knife that stays sharp. I am proud to own several of Williams’ knives and I am very sure if you are looking for a forever knife you won’t be disappointed. The craftsmanship is second to none and I have owned several knives in my lifetime.
The first thing you will notice when you take a Williams Knife out of the box is the weight and balance of the product. Knowing it is made solid with M390 Steel and G10 material handle, it is going to last your lifetime. The Kydex sheath with the quick-release backing is my favorite sheath to date. It has just the right tension on the knife to know it isn't going to come out of the sheath until you grip and pull. I cannot wait to use these products this season. My new favorite knife brand.
I love the feel of this knife! It is solidly made and has a certain heft to it that I did not expect. I've handled some other higher end fixed blades that were lighter and thinner than I expected them to be. The Whitetail Skinner has a thicker blade than I expected but I like that. Handle is very comfortable and the sheath has a solid retention system for the knife. Very sharp out of the box. Can't wait to use it on a deer or elk this fall!
I like the design. Two things I would add, A lanyard hole and jumping on the blade.
I do like the look and feel of Whitetail skinner , have not a chance to use it, maybe Deer season or cool enough in GA. For Wild Hog. Thank You
