To say that Hunting and fishing is in Scott Brandon’s blood does not do justice to the impact the outdoors has had on his life. At a very early age, Scott’s Dad Cecil Brandon (a true Southern Sportsman), began taking him along on his weekly hunting and fishing adventures. Cecil loved to hunt quail and ducks and would put Scott into his old Ford station wagon early on Saturday mornings, not returning until well after dark.
Scott’s earliest memories of hunting were formed in such famed places as Cane Island, Cecil’s duck club in the famed Santee Delta and Oakland Gun Club the last great wild quail club in the south. Armed with a single-shot .410, Scott was deadly on quail, ducks, squirrels and the occasional rabbit. He can still remember the first quail and first duck he ever shot, with his Dad right by his side.
