Our Big Chef knife is a must-have item in any kitchen, whether it's for professional chefs or home cooks alike. The knife is one of the most versatile pieces of cutlery in our culinary line. With a 9” broad blade and ergonomic design, the Big Chef is ideal for chopping, slicing, and dicing practically anything from vegetables to tough meats. The shape of the blade allows it to rock on the cutting board with ease as it makes each cut. At 13.75” in overall length and a weight of 11.65 ounces, this knife is as comfortable in the hand as it is capable of tasks big and small. The Elmax steel used in the construction of this workhorse features all the high end qualities of the latest industry super steels, featuring long lasting edge retention, ease of sharpening and reliable corrosion resistance with reasonable care. Each Big Chef comes with a molded kydex sleeve for blade protection during storage and safety during travel. The Black and Gray models come with a black kydex and the Seafoam and White models come with a tan kydex.

Big Brownie Points for Me

The Big Chef got me some big brownie points! My wife is a phenomenal cook, but has never liked any of the knife sets I’ve bought her in the past, because they never stay sharp. With her new Big Chef she can slice and dice to her heart’s content! She loves how sharp it is and effortlessly it cuts. Now she’s happy and I’m not constantly sharpening knives anymore!

It has quickly become my favorite knife in the kitchen

I have to say that I was really surprised when I opened the packaging and picked this knife up for the first time. You can just feel the quality of the knife in your hand. It has great balance and is just the right weight to tackle any job in the kitchen with ease from cutting a watermelon to slicing a flank steak. It's also super sharp and held its edge for a very long time. It has quickly become my favorite knife in the kitchen. Best of all, it is a beautiful knife and I get comments all the time from people who see it for the first time. I really do love this knife
